Well, I am now a part of the blogging world and I am still learning, but I decided it was time for my first post, woo!!
This past weekend, Preston and I went to my house to spend the weekend with the family. It was a great weekend that was definitely needed after all of the stresses of last week. I am so glad I got through this past Friday and things are slowing down a little bit, well, at least school work is. Before heading home, a friend and I went to the wonderful Hobby Lobby. It was so much fun and we found some great stuff… I just love that place! I got TONS of scrap book paper that I was really excited about, couldn’t wait to get home to play on my cricut J
Friday evening, Brinley and Brice had their 11th birthday party. It was an indoor glow in the dark putt-putt course. It was a lot of fun and they had a great turn out!
Saturday was a terrific day full of laziness… which hadn’t been in my life much the last little bit. It was so nice to stay in and not go ANYWHERE! We woke up to snow, and lots of it. Brinley had two friends over and they began their day by going outside to sit in the hot tub while it snowed, then they made a Hawaiian snowman!
After laying around and doing nothing, I decided it was time to put up two more Christmas trees. My family has eight trees this year, it’s a lot of work, but they look great once everything is finished! Later Saturday evening, Preston and I got curious about real estate because we are going to be moving next December… we decided to see what our options might be, and we were please. Sunday we went to church, Wal-Mart, and then home… to a wonderful Chili lunch my dad made, it was quite tasty, especially because we were cold and hungry! After packing up and saying good-bye, Preston and I headed back to school. When we got here, I began working with my cricut and making some Christmas cards, they’re going to be super cute! No pics though, it’d ruin the surprise!
